Owners who are not willing to pay the veterinarian for veterinary care will never become good clients.
I read this article, too, in the AVMA news feed on FB. I hear this BS in person all the time. Every time too many people tell me I'm just like an old-time veterinarian, I know it's time to raise my prices again.

Things are tons more expensive on humans, much less that you have to go to multiple different "specialists" (physician, dentist, whatever) for different types of care.
Veterinarians are all of that in one. People apparently just don't realize this - and oh my gosh, needing support people! You mean veterinarians aren't magicians, too? Imagine my surprise.
